Type: Stone Monument
Description:
A laid stone monument contains a newer engraved granite marker.
The marker reads: "In Memory Of Those ~ Who Gave Their ~ Lives In
Service ~ We Here Highly Resolve ~ That These Dead Shall ~ Not
Have Died In Vain".
There are numerous GAR grave markers near this monument.

Type: Granite Monument, Pavilion, and Cannon
Description:
A granite monument, pavilion, and cannon form the center of the cemetery.
One side of the monument is inscribed with; "(GAR Badge) ~ Stone River ~
Post ~ No 74 ~ G.A.R." The Base Is Inscribed: "1861-1865". Other sides
include; "Womens Relief ~ Corps ~ No. 189 ~ Erected 1914", "Loyalty",
and crossed rifles.
The pavilion has inscriptions: "Womens Relief Corps ~ 180 ~ Organized
1889", "Erected 1942 ~ By The ~ Retiring Cemetery Board ~ Stone River
W.R.C. ~ (names)", and "In Memory Of ~ A.J. Romig ~ He Gave All He Had ~
Other Endowments ~ (names)".
A bronze Dahlgren, pointed east, is mounted on a concrete base.

to other Civil War related markers.
